Mamak Shop brings Malaysian and Singaporean street food to Malmö, inspired by family recipes passed down from Chef Suresh’s grandmother. Suresh is of Singaporean-Tamil descent and cooks with heart—creating dishes that hold meaning and taste just like “home.”
The menu is intentionally small and features classics from mamak shops and hawker centers, with flavors that stay as true to the originals as possible. The concept is family-run and halal-friendly, welcoming both those who miss the food from home and those who want to discover Malaysian and Singaporean street food for the first time.
